Currently, telemedicine is not yet regulated in Malaysia. The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH / Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia) references the telemedicine regulatory sandbox by Singapore’s Ministry of Health as a benchmark in the development of regulatory framework for telemedicine and online health services. While waiting for local regulations to be finalized, Doctor On-line applies stringent telemedicine guidelines by Singapore’s Ministry of Health as our best practices, in order to uphold the highest levels of clinical standards to ensure safe processes for both local doctors and patients.
